Looks like I’m waltzing right next to Scylla
Feels like she’s eyeing me, counting all my steps
I’m dancing so gingerly, twisting and turning free
But Scylla is making her way for my neck.

Charybdis is circling, like he’s lost in a trance
His focus is single, his breathing enhanced
I hear the wind as it rushes through, with truth in his eye
But Charybdis lies sweetly, his joy is my cry.

Scylla, Charybdis, are singing songs so low
Trying to entice me, beacon me to go
But sometimes when both are devils
And both are devils I know
I try to keep myself dancing, with monsters somewhere in tow

Fear can be a burden, make me run, when I should stand
Wakes me when I’m sleeping, says I don’t have a chance
With Scylla, Charybdis, destruction on their minds
But waltzing keeps me going , stepping always in time.
